DIY Urbanism

Today I wanted to share some photos from a show that was taking place in the main floor gallery space at the SPUR Urban Center during the Summit.  It was called DIY Urbanism, and showcased some amazing citizen DIY projects from San Francisco and area.  The variety of the projects in the exhibit is really great – homemade street furniture, impromptu public gardens, clandestine markets and pop-up shops, as well as completely reclaimed spaces: truly inspirational (and hopefully motivational) projects.
