About
Welcome to Regina Urban Ecology! This is a forum to discuss the many aspects of the urban experience in Regina, Saskatchewan. We use the term “urban ecology” to encompass issues of urban planning and design, aspects of community, art and culture, as well as the natural ecology of the city. It is a place to discuss what makes cities exciting and engaging places to be by looking at the past and present, to plan for the future..
Along with exploring topics unique to Regina, projects from other cities are also showcased. By examining urban life, both locally and across cities in general, we hope to gain a greater understanding of how citizens and municipal leaders can create great streets, great communities, and great cities.

Whitworth at prairie dog just gave me a heads up about this blog.
Um.
Wow. This is great. I love this stuff. Regina needs a place to discuss the kind of city it’s becoming. (And the skyscraper page forum is just too cumbersome.)
You’ve been at it since September?
Thanks Paul! I am glad that you like it so far. We are always looking for more people to contribute, so if you feel like posting something let me know (I always dig your posts on the dog blog)!
Hey there, former Regina resident here. I stumbled across this site this evening, and just wanted to say I think it’s great. You guys have at least one reader on the East Coast.
Nice to have you with us Alex!
I just bookmarked your site.
Seem pretty good and interesting – Gilles L. Regina
Thanks Giles – we look forward to having you as a reader!
